The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap information) Regulations 2017 require the reporting of the difference between average earnings of male and female employees. Calculations from data taken as at 5 April 2019 are considered to be accurate and are as follows:
The Klondyke Group is a family owned and run business made up of 22 Garden Centre across the North East and North West of England, North Wales and Scotland with a Head Office based in Grangemouth in Central Scotland.
At the time the data was taken the company employed 1,080 people, of whom 72.2% were female and 27.8% were male.
Our board is 40% female and in the last year with 48% of new recruits into Head Office, Garden Centre and Restaurant Management positions in the reporting year being female.
We have continued to run our management development programme of which 47% of the participants are female and have also commenced a series of Apprenticeship programmes of which 67% are female
