A stunning floribunda Rose ‘Strikes Gold’ has been launched this week at the Hampton Court Flower Show, taking centre stage on the Mattocks Roses Gold Award winning stand.
The rose ‘Strikes Gold’ has been specially commissioned to celebrate the Centenary Year of Strikes Garden Centres.
The Company was founded in 1877 and registered in 1908 as nurserymen, seedsmen and florists and is now part of the Klondyke Group, the United Kingdom’s largest, independently owned garden centre operator.
‘Strikes Gold’ recently won an award at the ADR, the all German Rose Trials where roses are evaluated on the quality of the bloom, health and garden performance.
The beautiful floribunda rose produces an abundance of large lightly fragranced lemon yellow blooms throughout the year, on a compact bush with glossy green foliage.
