The last packs of bedding plants and bags of compost went on their way as Strikes Garden Centre on York Road, Knaresborough closed its doors to the public for the final time on Sunday 29th June.
After 35 years serving the gardeners of Knaresborough and surrounding areas, it was with happy memories that the staff said a final farewell to customers and the shop.
Customers need not worry as Strikes Garden Centres are still close by with centres at Darlington Road, Northallerton and Wellington Hill, Leeds.

As part of our on-going relationship with local schools, the Gardens for Schools project allows us to help assist in projects and school curriculum work.
Customers receive one Gardens for Schools voucher for every £10 spent in a single transaction in our garden centres and coffee shops. Customers are then able to donate their vouchers to the school of their choice who can exchange the vouchers for free gardening products.
